For landscapers
Put your business on the roll. It is free, and it stays yours.
Yardroll lists landscaping businesses that work in Northeast Ohio, rated only by clients who sign in. You add the listing, keep it current, answer every rating, and can take it down whenever you like.
What a listing shows
- Your business name and home city. No street address: the roll lists businesses, not where anyone lives.
- The counties you work in, from the 16 Yardroll covers: Ashland, Ashtabula, Columbiana, Cuyahoga, Erie, Geauga, Huron, Lake, Lorain, Mahoning, Medina, Portage, Stark, Summit, Trumbull, Wayne.
- Your services, from a fixed list: lawn mowing and care; landscape design and planting; patios, walls and walkways; tree and shrub care; spring and fall cleanup; mulch and garden beds; irrigation and drainage; snow plowing and removal; sod, seeding and grading; outdoor lighting.
- The year you started and your website, if you want them shown, and a short description in your own words (600 characters).
- No phone numbers or email addresses. The automatic screen refuses them; clients reach you through your website.
How it works
- 1
Create a business account
A username and a password. No email address is asked for or sent. Keep the recovery code you are shown.
- 2
Add your listing
A person checks it before it appears: it must be a landscaping business working in a covered county, added by someone who owns or manages it.
- 3
Answer ratings, free
Every published rating can carry your answer underneath. Changes to your listing wait for review while the published version stays up.
What you can count on
- Same rules for everyone. Nobody pays to be listed, to rank, or to remove or reorder a rating, and there is nothing to buy for businesses.
- Ratings only from signed-in clients who confirm a paid job in the last three years; business accounts cannot rate.
- Every rating is read first. Accusations of crimes, named workers and personal information are not published.
- A way to object. Use the dispute form if a rating is not from a client or breaks the rules, or if someone listed your business without your say-so.
- You can leave. Take the listing down from your account page at any time; its ratings come off the site with it.
Yardroll is a registry run by WeldonPC.com. It does no landscaping work, takes no jobs and passes on no leads, and it speaks for no business on the roll.
